All of our yoga classes clam and balance the mind and body.  Yoga has been known to reduce stress and anxiety, increase circulation, improve flexibility and bring balance to the internal organs.  We have multiple types of yoga classes to suit every member’s needs from their practice.

Yin Yoga

In this yoga class, you will practice a series of long-held, passive poses that mainly work the lower part of the body;  focusing on the hips, pelvis, inner thighs and lower spine.

  • Intensity: Medium to High
  • Equipment Required: Bring your own Yoga Mat
  • Burn Rate: 180 calories (on average)

Vinyasa Yoga

The practice of Vinyasa Yoga includes breathing and movement together, led through a sequence of vigorous poses.  The class focuses on increasing flexibility, balance and stamina while building your core strength.

  • Intensity: Low to Medium
  • Equipment Required: Bring your own Yoga Mat, Blocks, Straps
  • Burn Rate: 360 calories (on average)

Hatha Yoga

This traditional yoga class tones and strengthens your body.  Relax, unwind and destress while focusing on deep and conscious breathing.  The focus of this class is combining breathing, stretching and holding yoga poses to release tension.

  • Burn Rate: 290 calories (on average)


CorYoga

This class combines the many benefits of yoga stretching, breathing and mental concentrating with a gentle but challenging fitness workout.  The class is based around a sequential series of fluidic yoga moves set to a unique combination of exhilarating rhythmic and soothing new age music.
